Set the dump lever to “FLOAT” position and check that the
dump body float caution lamp is not lit.

Stop the engine and apply the parking brake.
4.
Check the safety around the operator's compartment, set
the articulation lock to LOCK position (L) to prevent the
front frame and rear frame from articulating.
5.
Select wire ropes, slings, spreader beams and other lifting
tool to match the weight of the machine, and fit the wire
ropes to the lifting hooks (at lifting hook marks) at the front
of the front frame and the rear of the rear frame.
