Tuning
Aswithallanaloginstruments,theprologue’scircuitrycandriftovertimeduring
performance due to changes in environment and temperature. The prologue pro-
vides an auto-tuning function that automatically tunes the instrument’s analog cir-
cuits on demand, to correct for any analog drift.
Asyoucontinuetoplaytheprologueforawhilerightafteryou’veturnediton,the
pitch and tone may gradually drift. If the pitch drift becomes noticeable, use the steps
below to tune the instrument. This will manually bring the prologue back into tune.
1.
Press the EXIT buon while holding down the SHIFT buon.
Tuningwillbegin,andthedisplaywillindicate“Tuning...”.
The tuning will take about 15 seconds.
Duringtuning,youwilltemporarilybeunabletoplaytheprologue.
Restoring the Factory settings
Youcanrestoretheprologue’spresetProgramsandglobalseingstotheiroriginal
factory-set state at any time.

Begin with the prologue turned O.
2.
While holding down the WRITE button and the EXIT button, turn the pro-
logue On.
“FACTORYRESET”willbeindicatedinthedisplay.
3.
Turn the PROGRAM/VALUE knob to select the items you wish to reset to the
factory-set default seings.
PRESET:Restoresthepresetprograms(001–250)andthelivesettotheirfactory-
setdefaultseings.
Ifyoudonotwanttoerasethepresetprograms,presstheWRITEbuon
tosavethemtotheuserprograms(251–500).
GLOBAL:RestorestheGLOBALseingstotheirfactory-setdefaultseings.
ALL:Restoresthepresetprograms,userprograms,thelivesetandGLOBALset-
tingstotheirfactory-setdefaultseings.
Use caution, as this will replace all data with the factory-set default set-
tings (including the sounds saved to the user programs).
