10.1 Preparations for road travel

Before road travel, make certain
• the machine is fully and correctly hitched.
• the PTO shaft is switched off and the rotors have come to a complete stop.
• the rotors are locked.
• the rotor arms are completely retracted, for working width adjustment version.
• the machine is in the transport position.
• the retaining bolts are correctly engaged in the lockings (1).
• all hydraulic control units are in neutral position.
• the tine guards (2) have been plugged onto the tines located in transport position below 2
m.
• the lighting system works.
• the lower links are lowered to a height of 60 cm to the ground to comply with the transport
height.
• the stop cock on the single-acting control unit (1+) is closed.
