16.9 Changing the low beam bulb
Note
Damage to reflector Reduced brightness.
– Grease on the lamp will evaporate due to the heat and be deposited on the reflector. Clean the lamp and keep it free of grease before
mounting.
Preparatory work
– Switch off all power consumers and switch off the engine.
– Remove the seat. ( p. 106)
– Remove the front side cover. ( p. 118)
– Remove the tank cover. ( p. 126)

Remove the mask spoiler. x ( p. 120)
– Remove the wind shield. ( p. 129)
– Remove the headlight mask with the headlight. ( p. 166)

Main work
–
Push headlight bulb
1
lightly into the bulb socket, turn it all the way counterclock-
wise, and pull it out.

Disconnect plug
