Place the chain adjuster on the tensioning screw.
Position the chain adjuster and place it on the tensioning screw.
Tighten nut .
Guideline
In order for the rear wheel to be correctly aligned, the markings on the left and right
chain adjusters must be in the same position relative to the reference marks .
Nut, rear wheel spindle M25x1.5 90 Nm
(66.4 lbf ft)
Thread greased
Operate the foot brake lever repeatedly until the brake pads press up against the brake
disc and there is a pressure point.
Take the rear of the motorcycle off the work stand. ( p. 97)
Check the chain tension. ( p. 123)

The engine power is transmitted by the rear sprocket to the rear wheel through five shock absorbers. They eventually wear out dur-
ing operation. If the shock absorbers are not changed in time, the rear sprocket carrier and the rear hub are damaged.
Remove the rear wheel. x ( p. 141)
