6.11 Hazard warning flasher switch

The hazard warning flasher switch

is fitted on the right side of the combination switch.
The hazard warning flasher is used to indicate emergency situations.

The hazard warning flasher can be activated or deactivated while the ignition is
switched on or up to 60 seconds after the ignition is switched off.
Only keep the hazard warning flasher activated as long as necessary as it depletes
the battery.
Possible states
Hazard warning flasher on – All four turn signals and the green turn signal
indicator lights in the combination instrument flash.
6.12 Emergency OFF switch/electric starter button

The emergency OFF switch/electric starter button

is fitted on the right side of the com-
bination switch.
Possible states
Emergency OFF switch/electric starter button off (top position) – In this
position, the ignition circuit is interrupted, a running engine stops, and a
non-running engine cannot be started. A message appears on the display.
Emergency OFF switch/electric starter button on (middle position) – This
position is required for operation; the ignition circuit is closed.
Starter motor on (lower position) – In this position, the starter motor is
actuated.
