Remove screws
. Remove oil filter cover
with the O-ring.

Pull oil filter
out of the oil filter housing.
Circlip pliers reverse (51012011000)
– Completely drain the engine oil.
– Thoroughly clean the parts and sealing surface.

Insert oil filter
.
–
Lubricate the O-ring of the oil filter cover. Mount oil filter cover
.
– Mount and tighten the screws.

Screw, oil filter cover (RC 125) M5 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
Screw, oil filter cover (RC 125) M6 12 Nm (8.9 lbf ft)
Screw, oil filter cover (RC 200) M5 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
Screw, oil filter cover (RC 200) M6 12 Nm (8.9 lbf ft)

Too little engine oil or poor-quality engine oil results in premature wear of the
engine.
