determines the “door handing” and
sets the proper direction for motor to
rotate.

a.Pressandholdthe“LOCK”buttonontheexteriorkeypad,whilefullyin-
serting the battery pack into the interior assembly (the tabs on the pack must
faceout-seeillustration).
b.Whentheunitbeginstooperatethebolt,releasethe“LOCK”button.
7. Install batteries.
AlkalineBatteryWARNING:Donotdisposeofinre,recharge,
putinbackwards,disassemble,mixwithusedorotherbatterytypes.May
explodeorleakandcausepersonalinjury.
a. Install 4 new AA Alkaline batteries.
Install the new batteries as indicatedinillustration.Make
surebatterieslieatinholder.Forbestperformance,
rechargeable batteries are not recommended.
