Adjust/Maint. (Adjust/Maintenance selection/setting)
Adjust/Maintenance is used to adjust the print quality and to carry out printer maintenance.
The options available in Adjust/Maintenance are as follows:
• Quiet Mode (Setting the Quiet Mode)...4-130
• Restart (Restart Printer)...4-131
• Service Setting (for Maintenance)...4-132
1 Press [Menu].
2 Press  or  to select Adjust/Maint..
3 Press [OK]. The Adjust/Maint. menu appears showing a list of
available options.
Quiet Mode (Setting the Quiet Mode)
Lower print speed for quiet processing.
Options available in Quiet Mode are as follows:
• Quiet Mode (Selecting the Quiet Mode)...4-130
• Each Job (Permission for settings for each jobs)...4-131
1 In the Adjust/Maint. menu screen, press  or  to select Quiet
Mode.
2 Press [OK]. The Quiet Mode menu appears showing a list of
available options.
Quiet Mode (Selecting the Quiet Mode)
Set the Quiet Mode. Select this mode when the running noise is uncomfortable.
1 In the Quiet Mode menu screen, press  or  to select Quiet
Mode.
2 Press [OK]. The [Quiet Mode] menu appears.
3 Press  or  to select Off or On.
4 Press [OK]. The Quiet Mode is set and the Quiet Mode menu
screen reappears.
IMPORTANT Service Setting is primarily a menu used by service personnel for maintenance work. There is no
need for customers to use this menu.
