Rear Unit
Paper is jammed in the rear cover . Remove the jammed paper using the procedure given below.

If paper is not completely ejected into the top tray, open the rear
cover.

Open the fuser cover and remove the jammed paper by pulling it out.
IMPORTANT If the optional Faceup Output Tray is installed,
remove it before opening the rear cover.
Note
If you cannot find a paper jam, try checking inside the
rear of the printer.
CAUTION The fuser unit inside the printer is hot. Do
not touch it with your hands as it may result in burn
injury. Remove jammed paper carefully.
