5 Insert the paper along the paper width guides into the tray until it
stops.
IMPORTANT Make sure that the side that was closest to the package
seal is facing up.
Curled paper must be straightened before use.
Straighten the top edge if it is curled.
Before loading paper in the MP tray, make sure no paper remains in
the tray from a previous job. If a small amount of paper remains in the
MP tray and you want to add more, remove the remaining paper from
the tray, combine it with the new paper, fan the paper, and then load
in the tray.
6 Set the MP tray paper size on the printer’s operation panel. Refer to
Paper Settings on page 4-46.
Paper stopper
When using A3 or Ledger paper, open the paper stopper.
