Device Manager - Authentication
The Authentication Tab gives you the ability to set security on two different levels. You either have Local
Authentication that you can maintain yourself or you can purchase KYOcapture Authentication Server, which
will require a Novell Server, Windows Domain Controller or an Active Directory Server. From this tab you
are able to configure the selected device for Authentication by selecting the Authentication method and
clicking Update Device. Once the Update Device button is clicked, at the device you will be prompted for
user credentials when accessing the Scanner features of the Device.
