Measurementcategory Ⅲ (CAT. Ⅲ )orlower:overAC750V/DC1000V
󱾀 Do not make measurement with the battery compartment cover
removedfromtheinstrument.
󱾀 Donotmakecurrentmeasurementwiththetestleadsconnected
totheinstrument.
󱾀 Keep your fingers and hands behind the barrier during
measurement.
a.Setthe Function Selector switch to the"400A" positionand press
theAC/DCbuttontoselecttheDCmode."DC"shouldbeshownon
theupperleftcornerofthedisplay.
b.Withthetransformerjawsclosedwithoutclampingthemontothe
conductor,presstheZeroADJ.buttonforaboutonesecondtozero
adjustthedisplay.(TheZeroADJbuttonisenabledonlyon400A
DCrange.)
  shouldbeshownonthedisplay.
c.SettheFunctionSelectorswitchtothepositionappropriateforthe
orderofthecurrentundertest.
