8. Battery Replacement
# WARNING
󱾀 To avoid electric shock hazard, make sure to set the Function
Selector switch to "OFF"and remove the testleads from the
instrumentbeforetryingtoreplacebatteries
CAUTION
󱾀 Donotmixnewandoldbatteries.
󱾀 Make sure to install batteries in correct polarity as indicated in
thebatterycompartment.
Iftheinstrumentispoweredon,butthedisplayblanksor   is
shownonthelowerleftcornerofthedisplay,replacethebatteries.
a.SettheFunctionSelectorswitchtothe"OFF"position.
b.Unscrewand remove the battery compartment coveron the
bottomoftheinstrument.
c.Replace the batteries observing correct polarity. Make sure touse
twonewR6Pbatteries.
d.Replaceandscrewthebatterycompartmentcover.
