󱾀 Keep your fingers and hands behind the barrier during
measurement.
a.SettheFunctionSelectorswitchtothe"400A"or"2000A"position
andselecttheACmode.IftheinstrumentisintheDCmode,press
theAC/DCbuttononcetoselecttheACmode.(Theinstrumentis
settotheACmodewhenitispoweredon.)"AC"shouldbeshown
ontheupperleftcomerofthedisplay.
b.Press the trigger to open the transformer jaws and clamp them
ontotheconductorundertestandtakethereadingonthedisplay.
◇ Duringcurrentmeasurement, keep the transformerjawsfully
closed. Otherwise, accurate measurement cannot be made. The
maximummeasurableconductorsizeis55mmindiameter.
◇ Unlike inDC current measurement, zero adjustment is not
necessaryin AC current measurement.Thereisnopolarity in the
readingeither
