Chemical Exposure
The phx42 Gas Analyzer uses a flame ionization detector to analyze atmospheric samples containing
hydrocarbons. Sample gas is collected and passed through a hydrogen flame and ions from
combustion of the sample are measured, recorded, and reported. Primary gas used for equipment
calibration is Methane in Air (various concentrations).
