5 Regular movement detector
A common practice for a regular movement detector
is placing the detector under or beside a bed thus
alerting when a user gets out of bed at night (i.e.
used as a bed alarm).
5.1 Installation
Place the PIR II on the floor beside the bed or on a ta-
ble. Ensure that the unit is covering the best possible
area where the user will trig a movement alarm.
5.2 Conguration
Set the DIP-switches according to the table below.
DIP Setting
1 OFF (Conguration with DIP-switches).
2 ON or OFF, see “13.2 DIP2 - Power save mode”.
3 OFF (PIR II is used as a regular movement detector).
4 N/A
5 ON or OFF, see “13.5 DIP5 - IR detection sensitivity”.
6 ON (Alarms are visually indicated).
7 ON (Movement detection is visually indicated).

delay”.
