5.3 Inserting the eyepieces

• Inserttheeyepiecesintotheeyepiecetubes.

Note:

We recommend using the LAS software to teach in eye-

pieces that are not included in the scope of delivery.

This ensures that the total magniﬁcation speciﬁed on the

touchscreen is correct.

5.4 Inserting the objectives

• Screwtheobjectivesintotheobjectiveturret.

The receptacles on the objective turret are numbered

(Fig. 18). Depending on your equipment, speciﬁc positions

have already been assigned to the individual objectives at

the factory.

For details on the exact positions of the objectives,

please refer to the enclosed "Identiﬁcation sheet".

! Caution!

Close vacant threads in the turret using dust protection

caps!

Please note that the front lenses of the objectives face up-

wards. This subjects them to increased exposure to con-

tamination compared to objectives on upright microscopes.

Check the front lens more often for cleanliness for this rea-

son.

Note:

We recommend carrying out a parfocality adjustment via

the LAS software.
