4. The contact spring (→ "Fig. 21-1") has to touch the ignition wire (→ "Fig. 21-2") of the bulb after
being inserted.

5. Swing the reflector downwards. Reinsert and retighten screw (→ "Fig. 14-3").
6. Close lid (→ "Fig. 12-6") of the instrument again.
4.7 Filling and inserting the magazines
1. Fill one of the magazines (→ "Fig. 22-1") with slides (→ "Fig. 22-2"). While doing so, ensure that
the surface to be imprinted (→ "Fig. 22-3") is on the left and facing upwards.
2. So that the specimen slides are ejected correctly, ensure that the specimen slides are inserted
into the magazine accurately aligned above each other (→ "Fig. 25") and at a right angle to the
aperture (→ "Fig. 26").
3. Hold magazine (→ "Fig. 22-1") at a slight angle (→ "Fig. 23") to prevent the specimen slides
from falling out of the magazine. Insert magazine into the corresponding receptacle as shown.
Both pins (→ "Fig. 23-2") of the magazine need to lock into slot (→ "Fig. 23-1").
