4.3 Adjust the Rotor Angle
Procedure
1. Make sure:
a. The Lotus is connected to the tractor (page 3‑3).
b. The Lotus is in the working position (page 3‑7).
c. The hydraulic system is set to the floating position.
d. The rotor wheels are set to the required position.
Make sure the height adjustment of the tines is not too low. This results in an
excessive load and causes the tines to wear or break.
2. Release the rod out of the clamp
3. Turn the spindle to adjust the rotor angle to the ground by using the
rod
4. Make sure the tines slightly touch the ground and the crop is picked
correctly.
5. Make sure the tines touch the ground over a distance of
approximately 25 cm (10 in).
