5.2.5 Replace the Gearbox Grease
Requirements:
• Shell Gadus S2 V220-AC0
• Loctite 243
• Loctite 574
Procedure
1. Remove the hose clamp (2) and the protection cover (1).
2. Remove the bolts (4) and cover (3).
3. Remove the old grease from the gearbox .
4. Fill the gearbox with 1.2 kg of grease.
5. Put loctite 574 on the edge of the gearbox.
6. Put loctite 243 on the cover bolt holes.
7. Install the cover (3) and bolts (4) on the gearbox.
8. Install the hose clamp (2) and the protection cover (1).
9. Dispose of the old grease according by the rules.
