5.2.4 Grease the PTO shaft
Requirements:
• Grease pump with flexible hose.
• Biodegradable grease (Total Biomultis SEP2 or equivalent)
Refer to the third party documentation for detailed information to grease the
type of PTO shaft. The important grease point for all the type of PTO-shafts
are described in the next procedure.
Procedure:
1. Verify the types of PTO shafst on the Lotus.
2. Grease the following grease points of the PTO shaft(s) with the
grease pump:
• the grease nipple (A),
• the guard bearing (B),
• the profiled tubes (C).
To grease the headstock PTO shaft, make sure to turn the headstock to the
left or right as far as possible, for easier access.
