features and functions, please read these instructions thoroughly!
Safe operation can only be guaranteed if the product is used for the purpose it has been designed
for and within the limits of the technical specications. Ensure you get up-to-date technical
information that can be found in the latest associated datasheet under www.lem.com.
Terminal protection cover delivered with the product must be installed to obtain proper electrical
protection. The data link cable used between the product’s elements shall be the one delivered
by LEM.
Electrical equipment should be installed, operated, serviced and maintained only by qualied
personnel.
No responsibility is assumed by LEM International SA for any consequences arising out of the use
of this material. A qualied person is one who has skills and knowledge related to the construction,
installation, and operation of electrical equipment and has received safety training to recognize
and avoid the hazards involved.
The meter must be installed inside an enclosure IP51 (indoor) or IP54 (outdoor) according to
EN 50470:2007.
When installing or changing the product, the conductor to which the product is connected must be
de-energized. Ignoring the warnings can lead to serious injury and/or cause damage!
The appropriate torque is dened by LEM (see "Table 2: Torque values for installation" and "4.2.
Mounting and unmounting")
The appropriate crimping of the connection elements is dened by the nationalities in force.
