6. Install the new memory module.
7. Secure the memory module with the latches.
8. Reinstall the removed parts.
System fan
Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 2 “Important service information” on page 27 and print the following
instructions.
The system fan might be very hot. Before you open the hinge cover, turn off the computer and wait several
minutes until the computer is cool.
