8. Secure the system fan with the screws.
9. Connect the system fan connector to the system board.
10. Reinstall the removed parts.

Prerequisite
Before you start, read Chapter 2 “Important service information” on page 27 and print the following
instructions.
The heat sink might be very hot. Before you open the hinge cover, turn off the computer and wait several
minutes until the computer is cool.
