2.FromtheSetupUtilityprogrammainmenu,selectSecurity➙ChangeSupervisorPasswordor
Security➙ChangeUserPassword.Forinformationaboutthesupervisorpasswordanduser
password,seeItemsundertheSecuritymenu.
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentoset,change,ordeleteapassword.

thefanspeedmodeissettoAutotoensureadequateairow.
WhenthereisnoThinkServer8708EM2RAIDBatteryinstalledinaThinkServer8708EM2RAIDAdapter,or
whenthereisnoThinkServer8708ELPSASRAIDAdapterBatteryinstalledinaThinkServer8708ELPSAS
RAIDAdapter,thefannoisewillbehigh.Inthiscase,toreducefannoise,theusercanmanuallychange
thefanspeedmodefromAutotoOptimizedbydoingthefollowing:
1.FromtheBIOSSetupUtilityprogrammainmenu,clickAdvanced➙FanSpeedConguration.
2.IntheOptioneld,changeAutotoOptimized.
Attention:Thesystemwillnothaveadequatecooling,andsystemlifespanandcomponentswillcompromise
whenOptimizedmodeisenabledinthefollowingsituations:
