Installingsecurityfeatures
Thereareseveralsecurityoptionsavailabletohelpyoupreventhardwaretheftandunauthorizedaccessto
yourserver.Inadditiontophysicallocks,youcanalsopreventunauthorizeduseofyourserverbyasoftware
lockthatlocksthekeyboarduntilacorrectpasswordistypedin.

Integratedcablelock
Anintegratedcablelock,sometimesreferredtoastheKensingtonlock,canbeusedtosecureyourserverto
adesk,table,orothernon-permanentxture.Thecablelockattachestotheintegratedcablelockslotatthe
rearofyourserverandisoperatedwithakey.Thecablelockalsolocksthebuttonsusedtoremovethe
servercover.Thisisthesametypeoflockusedwithmanynotebookcomputers.Youcanorderanintegrated

Padlock
Yourserverisequippedwithapadlockloopsothatthecovercannotberemovedwhenapadlockisinstalled.
Passwordprotection
Todeterunauthorizeduseofyourserver,youcanusetheSetupUtilityprogramtosetapassword.When
youturnonyourserver,youarepromptedtotypethepassword.Theservercannotbeuseduntilavalid
