Lenovo ThinkSystem SR850 - Power Supply Unit Replacement; Remove a Hot-Swap Power Supply Unit

Step 1. Open the bracket on the PCIe riser-card assembly.
Step 2. Align the adapter with the connector on the PCIe riser-card assembly.
Step 3. Push the adapter into the PCIe riser-card assembly until it clicks into place.

Step 4. Close the bracket.
After installing an adapter in a PCIe riser-card assembly, complete the following steps:
1. If the adapter is installed to a PCIe riser-card assembly, install the PCIe riser-card assembly to the server
(see “Install the PCIe riser-card assembly” on page 88).
2. Reinstall the top cover (see “Install the top cover” on page 131).
3. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
4. Install the server in the rack.
5. Power on the server and any peripheral devices.
