• Prevent exposure to static electricity, which might lead to system halt and loss of data, by keeping static-
sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.

Procedure
Step 1. For each foot stand, carefully align the pin and screw hole on the foot stand with the corresponding
hole on the chassis; then, use a screwdriver to install a screw to secure the foot stand.

Step 2. For each foot stand, rotate the foot stand outwards.

Important: To help the server stand steadily, ensure that the foot stands are rotated outward.
