The inverters of the 8100 series incorporate various protective functions to prevent non-
permissible operating conditions. When a protective function is activated, the inverter
always sets pulse inhibit (lMP). In so me cases, Trip is also set. After the cause of fault is
removed, Trip must be reset. Pulse inhibit is reset automatically. In case of controller
inhibit and Trip, the decimal point of the lED operating display is flashing.
