Terminal extension with CAN bus node address 2
Input/Output information is exchanged via the process data channel (PDO =
Process Data Object). Two process data messages (PDO−TX, PDO−RX) transmit
information. For the transmission, every message needs a CAN bus identifier
which consists of the addition of basis identifier and CAN bus node address of the
terminal extension (CAN bus identifier = basis identifier + CAN bus node
address).
ƒ PDO−TX: The terminal extension sends the status information of the digital
inputs to the controller.
Basis identifier: 767
ƒ PDO−RX: The terminal extension receives the status information for the
digital outputs from the controller.
