ThisUserManualdescribes,inaclearanddistinctmanner,themaintenance,repairsandserviceoperations
tobeperformedbythemachineoperatorsandthosethatrequirequaliedandtrainedtechniciansfroman
authorisedafter-salesandservicecentre.

• Switchthemachineoffviathemainswitchandremovetheplugfromthesocket.
• Complywiththescheduledmaintenanceandintervalsstipulatedinthismanual.Delaysorlackofmaintenance
canleadtocostlyrepairs.
• OnlyuseoriginalFriulmed S.r.l.spareparts,oilsandlubricants.
• Usetoolsthatareingoodcondition;donotleavetoolsinsidethemachineafteruse.
• Neverintervenewhentheoperationstobeperformedrequireaqualiedtechnicianfromanauthorisedafter-
sales centre.
• TheoperationsmustonlybeperformedbyTechnicalSupportCentresauthorisedbyFriulmed S.r.l..
• Anysafetydevicesthataretemporarilydisabledorremovedbyaqualiedtechnicianformaintenancetobe
performed,mustberestoredoncetheinterventioniscompleteandtheirefciencyandfunctionalitymustbe
veried.
3. RECOMMENDATIONS TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
PACKAGING
• Thepackagingmaterialis100%recyclableandismarkedwiththerecyclingsymbol.
• ComplywithlocalStandardsfordisposal.
• Donotdisposeofthematerialintheenvironment.Thepackagingmaterial(plasticbags,polystyrene,etc.)
mustbekeptoutofthereachofchildrenastheyareapotentialsourceofdanger.

• Theappliancehasbeenconstructedwithrecyclablematerial.Thisapplianceismarkedincompliance
withEuropeanDirective2002/96/EC-WasteElectricalandElectronicEquipment(WEEE).
• Byensuringthatthisapplianceisscrappedcorrectly,youshallhelppreventpotentialnegativeconsequences
fortheenvironmentandhealth.
• Thesymbol
ontheapplianceorontheaccompanyingdocumentation,indicatesthatthisproductmust
notbetreatedasdomesticwastebutmustbetakentoasuitablerecyclingcollectionpointforelectricand
electronicequipment.
• Beforescrapping,maketheapplianceunusablebycuttingthepowercableandremovingthelidsothat
childrencannotaccesstheinnerpartoftheappliance.
