Turning the Phone On and Off
Turning the Phone On
1 . Install a ch a rged bat t e ry pack or connect the phone
to an ex t e r nal power source such as the ciga re t t e
lighter adapter or car kit.
2 . P r ess for a few seconds until the red lamp
fl a s h e s .
F u l l y extend the antenna for the best
p e r fo rm a n c e.
NOTE
Like any other radio device, avoid any
unnecessary contact with the antenna while
your phone is on.
Turning the Phone Off
1 . P r ess and hold until display screen turns off,
then release the key.
2 . P r otect the antenna by pushing it back into the
p h o n e , if ex t e n d e d.
