Advanced Phone Book Features
Pause Fe at u re : When you call automated systems
( s u c h as voice mail or credit billing nu m b e rs ) ,
you often have to enter a series of nu m b e rs .
Instead of entering these nu m b e rs by hand, yo u
can store the nu m b e rs in your phone book
s ep a r ated by special ch a ra c t e r s ( P, T ) called
p a u s e s .
Th e re are two diffe r ent pauses that you can use
when storing a nu m b e r :
H a r d pause (P)
The phone will stop dialing until you press Soft
Key 1 R e s u m e to advance to the next nu m b e r.
2-sec pause (T)
The phone will wait 2 seconds befo r e sending
the next string of digi t s .
