Inspection and maintenance as required

¾ Park truck safely.
¾ Fully lower fork carriage.
¾ Tilt lift mast forwards.
The fork arms must touch the ground.
¾ Apply the parking brake.
¾ Switch off the key switch.
¾ Press the emergency cut-off knob.
¾ Move the steering wheel (2) to the top posi-
tion.
¾ Move the armrest (3) to neutral.
¾ Move the driver’s seat (4) towards the steer-
ing wheel.

¾ Operate the locking lever (1) and move the
battery cover (5) back together with the
driver’s seat (4).
CAUTION
If special equipment consisting of the driver cabin
with rear window is involved, the following is neces-
sary before the battery cover can be flapped back:
move in the backrest of the driver’s seat, slide the
driver’s seat towards the steering wheel and raise
the rear window outwards by releasing the locking
devices fitted at the bottom on the right and left .
