4.22 WIRED REMOTE
With the optional wired remote control, you can operate the machine remotely.
As long as the button is pressed, the machine produces smoke in the amount set
using the knob next to the CONT button. The machine continues to smoke as long
as the button is pressed. The wired remote control uses the DMX input. When using
the wired remote, the DMX channel needs to be off. The DMX channel is off when
the channel selection is set to 0.
4.23 DMX INTERFACE
The Smoke Generator can be controlled using a DMX device such as a light board.
Set the desired DMX channel and connect the DMX cable(s) to the rear panel of the
machine. The DMX channel can be between 1 and 512.
The value set for this channel determines how much smoke is created:
DMX value Result
0 – 38 no smoke
39 – 215 smoke, density between 10% and 100%
216 – 255 smoke, maximum density
