5 IR-Remote Control Operation
5.1 General Description
The IR receiver is located behind the front panel glass above the LCD. The L-STAT device
implements the NEC IR protocol compatible with the Apple remote control as displayed in
Figure 11.

Whenever a command gets received the IRC bit at the short_pressed Modbus register at
address 1 (Table 7 at Page 22) is set. The received button code as well as the remote ID can
be read from the ir_remote_control_command register at address 32 (Table 9 at Page 24).
