Personal protective equipment
Wear the following personal protective equipment:
› Work clothes
› Protective gloves
› Safety shoes.
DANGER
Electric voltage!
Touching live parts can be lethal. Damaged insulation or dam-
aged parts may be fatal.
› Only qualified electricians or electrical safety experts may
work on the electrical system.
› Switch off power supply and secure against re-activation be-
fore performing any work. Test for absence of voltage.
› Keep moisture and dust away from live parts. Penetrating
moisture or dust can lead to a short circuit.
› If the electrical connection is established at precipitation, e.g.
rain or snow, penetration of moisture must be prevented by
suitable measures, such as a protective cover.
› Install protective devices that are prescribed by national regu-
lations, such as e.g. residual current circuit breakers. These
protective devices must be provided by the customer.
› Observe the information on the type plate.
› Close all covers after work has been carried out.
