Manitou MI-X 50L D C ST3A S2 - Gear Box Seal; Front Axle Differential Seal; Tyre Pressures; Wheel Nut Torques

CHECK Gear box seal
- Place the lift truck on level ground with the engine stopped.
- Open the engine cover ( DESCRIPTION: INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS).
- Visually check for seepage and leaks.
- If there are any, check the level.

- Pull out and clean the dipstick 1.
- Reinsert the dipstick and remove it again.
- Check the correct level between the two notches.
- If necessary, add oil ( LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through the same hole 2.

CHECK Front axle differential seal
Place the lift truck on level ground with the engine stopped.
- Visually check for seepage and leaks.
- If there are any, check the level.
- Raise the mast to gain access to the plug.
- Remove the level plug 1, the oil should be flush with the edge of the opening.
- If necessary, add oil (
 LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through the filler port 2.
- Refit and tighten the plugs (tightening torque 34 to 49N.m).
CHECK Tyre pressures
CHECK Wheel nut torques

IMPORTANT

Check that the air hose is correctly connected to the tyre valve before inflating and keep all persons at a distance during inflation.
Inflate to the recommended tyre pressures.
- Check the torque load of the wheel nuts. Non-compliance with this instruction can lead to damage and failure of the
wheel bolts and distortion of the wheels.
- Check and restore tyre pressures if necessary ( TYRES).
NOTE: There is an OPTIONAL wheel toolkit.

- Pull out and clean the dipstick 1.
- Reinsert the dipstick and remove it again.
- Check the correct level between the two notches.
- If necessary, add oil ( LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through the same hole 2.
