KEY SELECTOR FOR EXCLUSION OF
SAFETY SYSTEM
The Manitou telehandler is equipped with
an electronic safety system which controls
the overload of the macine in the operating
phase.
The system acts automatically to block the
boom movements.

It is only in exceptional cases and
for reasons of safety, that the sy-
stem can be deactivated manually.
With the safety system deactiva-
ted, the operator and the forklift
truck are exposed to risks and
there is nothing to prevent over-
load and/or overturning of the
vehicle.
Key selector
To disable the Safety System, the operator
must turn (1.1,
3.9), a key selector in the
cab.
Key (1.2,3.9) is kept inside a safety box
(1.3,3.9a) placed to RH side of the driver’s
(3.9).
Key selector (1.1,3.9) has two positions:
- safety system is activated (1,
3.9);
- safety system is deactivated (0,
3.9).
During normal use, the key selector is tur-
ned to position (1,3.9), so the safety sys-
tem is activated.

L’ESCLUSIONE DEL SISTEMA DI
SICUREZZA
Il sollevatore Manitou è dotato di un siste-
ma di sicurezza elettronico che controlla il
sovraccarico della macchina durante la fase
di lavoro.
Il sistema interviene automaticamente bloc-
cando i movimenti del braccio.

Solamente in casi eccezionali e per
motivi di sicurezza, è possibile di-
sinserire manualmente il sistema.
Con il sistema di sicurezza di-
sinserito l’operatore e il carrello
sono esposti a rischi e nulla vieta
il sovraccarico e/o il ribaltamento
del mezzo.
Selettore a chiave
L’operatore per disabilitare il Sistema di Si-
curezza deve girare un selettore (1.1,
3.9)
a chiave in cabina.
La chiave (1.2,3.9) è custodita all’inter-
no di una scatola di sicurezza (1.3,3.9a)
posta alla destra del guidatore (3.9).
Il selettore a chiave (1.1,3.9) ha due po-
sizioni:
- sistema di sicurezza è inserito (1,
3.9),
- sistema di sicurezza è disinserito
(0,
3.9).
Nel consueto utilizzo di lavoro il selettore a
chiave è ruotato in posizione (1,
3.9), sis-
tema di sicurezza inserito.

DO WYŁĄCZENIA SYSTEMU
BEZPIECZEŃSTWA
Podnośnik Manitou jest wyposażony w
elektroniczny system bezpieczeństwa, który
kontroluje przeciążenie maszyny w czasie
fazy roboczej.
System interweniuje automatycznie bloku-
jąc ruchy wysięgnika.

System można wyłącz yć ręcznie wyłąc-
znie w wyjątkowych przypadkach
oraz ze względów bezpieczeństwa.
Kiedy system bezpieczeństwa jest
wyłączony, operator i wózek są na-
rażeni na niebezpieczeństwo i nie
ma żadnego zabezpieczenia wózka
przed przeciążeniem i/lub przewró-
ceniem się.
Przełącznik z kluczem
W celu wyłączenia systemu bezpieczeńst-
wa operator musi obrócić przełącznik
(1.1,3.9) z kluczem w kabinie.
Klucz (1.2,3.9) jest przechowywany w za-
bezpieczonej skrzynce (1.3,3.9a) znajdu-
jącej się po prawej stronie kierowcy (3.9).
Przełącznik z kluczem (1.1,3.9) ma dwie
pozycje:
- system bezpieczeństwa jest włączony
(1,
3.9),
- system bezpieczeństwa jest wyłączony
(0,
3.9).
Podczas normalnej pracy przełącznik z kluc-
zem jest ustawiony w pozycji (1,
3.9) - sys-
tem bezpieczeństwa włączony.
