GRT880 SERVICE MANUAL BOOM
12. Take up slack on the boom lifting device.
13. Remove capscrew, washer, and wear pads from each of
the two pivot shafts that secure the boom to the
superstructure, then remove the capscrew and washer
from the opposite side of each pivot shafts. Remove the
two pivot shafts.
14. Raise boom clear of crane and lower to ground level. Set
cribbing under base section to level boom for service.
