PRIORITY FLOW CONTROL VALVE
Description
The priority flow control valve is located inside the left frame
rail at the center of the frame. The purpose of the valve is to
ensure the brake circuit gets the priority flow and the charge
air cooler fan motor circuit receives the excess flow.
Hydraulic pump number 3 supplies the priority flow control
valve which provides 15.1 L/min (4.0 gpm) to port 8 on the
swivel for the dual accumulator charge valve, then the
charge air cooler fan motor.
