DeviceSupervision
Devicetypesupervision:Ifthetypereportedbyanaddressabledetectorormoduledoesnotagreewiththe
configuration,thesystemreportsatroublecondition .
Deviceaddresssupervision:ThesystemchecksthattheconfigureddevicesontheAddressableDeviceCircuit
andtheSerialInterfaceCircuitrespondtoanaddresspoll.The
systemreportsatroubleconditionifoneofthe
followingconditionsisdetected:
• Configureddeviceismissing.
• Unconfigureddeviceisinstalled.
• Twoormoredevicesareprogrammedwiththesameaddresslocation(thistroubleisonlydetectedby
manuallychecking).
DetectorMonitor
Thecontrolpanelprocessorpollsthedetectorsfortheirstatus.Thedetectordeterminesnormal,trouble,and
alarmconditionsandcommunicatesthestatustothecontrolpanel.
Thecontrolpanelcanautomaticallytriggeranalarmoratroubleforvariousconditions,including:
