TROUBLE SHOOTING
1. The power cannot be turned on
(STANDBY LED is not lit(STANDBY MODE))
INDUCTOR PCB
Check insertion of the connector.
AC PCB
Check insertion of the connector.
Check the conduction of the SUB TRANS [T8501]
winding
Broken wire in SUB TRANS
[T8501].
Malfunction of [D8511, D8512,
D8515 or D8516].
Malfunction of [D8517 or
U8503].
Check the conduction of [D8511, D8512, D8515,
D8516].
No conduction. No conduction. It conducts.
It conducts.
2. The power cannot be turned on
(STANDBY LED is lit light ashes)
Check insertion of each connector.
When the power is turned on, does the LCD light
up?
AC PCB
Is the voltage of +15V output to [N8507 : 7pin]?
AC PCB
Is the voltage of +24V output to [N8508 : 3pin]?
Malfunction of the power supply circuit between [N8501] and [U8501] in the AC PCB.
Check for short circuits or wire breaking of the parts.
Check the applicable circuit according to "3.
Protection operation".
If there is no problem, the M_B_DOWN detec-
tion circuit of the UCOM PCB is faulty.
Malfunction of [U8501 or Q8501].
