3.2 FIRE
DANGER:
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
➢ Portable fire extinguisher (2 kg, type ABE class II - powder apparatus) is
located at the step near the helm position.
➢ The engine room has an automatic fire extinguisher system with auto
discharge and auto stop of the engine. This extinguisher has an indicator
located by the dashboard.
WARNING:
• Do not mount curtains or other fabrics over or close to any cooker or open flame
sources. It is prohibited to store flammable material in the engine room! If non-
flammable material is kept in the engine room it must not block access or risk
contact with hot engine parts.
• Do not store equipment containing petrol (outboard engines, tanks, petrol
generators, etc.) in compartments that are not designed for this purpose.
When fire gets out of control, you have to:
➢ take on the emergency vests.
➢ send emergency signals by radio or chart plotter, signal lights or telephone.
➢ evacuate the boat.
