5.2 BATTERIES (LEAD ACCUMULATORS)
Generally
Batteries are your source of energy to start the engine and to supply you with services
like lanterns, lights 12 Volt system etc.
Your boat is equipped with 6 batteries. Two are for starting of the engines and 4 are for
services. They are located in the midships cabin, under the bed.
To make sure that you have enough power to start the boat, there are 2 starter batteries,
which separated from the service batteries. Even if the service batteries are empty, you
will still have power to start the engine from the starter batteries.
If the start battery is empty, service batteries could be used to start the engine. Start and
service batteries can be connected together using a crossover switch in the engine
room. Switch should be used only in emergency situations and must be switched off
after the engine starts.
