❖ AGAINST THE WAVES
➢ Adjust the speed according to the height of the waves.
➢ Adjust the angle towards the waves.
➢ Avoid waves hitting the boat sideways.

❖ MANOEUVRING WITH THE WAVES
➢ Trim the bow high up with the tilt and trim flaps.
➢ Avoid sailing faster than the waves.
➢ Throw an emergency anchor/drifting anchor if the speed is too high.
WARNING:
• Manoeuvring possibilities are limited at high speed!
• Sudden manoeuvres at high speed can cause loss of control.
• Reduce speed before sharp turns.
