Cycle-start LED
8
Potentiometer for adjusting the delay time.
It adjusts the duration of the delay between the beginning of the grinding
cycle and the enabling of the gauging system (controls).
2
Power-on LED.
In applications with memory (oscillating head or workpieces with interrupted
surfaces), the underlighting of this LED indicates that the measurement is
stored during the moments in which the contact does not touch the surface
that is being ground.
2.2.1 Adjustment of Delay Time
The adjustment of the delay time, which is performed by acting on potentiometer 8
visible in Figure 1 on page 8, must be done in order to ensure that the gauging
system is enabled only when the measuring head is over the workpiece.
To facilitate the upward movement of the contacts, the measuring head can be
supplied with an electric retraction that is enabled during the delay.
