9. OPERATING LIMITS
WATER FLOW RATE AT THE EVAPORATOR
The nominal water ow rate refers to a temperature dierence between the inlet and outlet of the evaporator of 5°C. The maximum permissible
ow rate is the one with a temperature dierence of 3°C and the minimum is the one with a temperature dierence of 8°C at nominal condions
as indicated in the data sheet.

For greater precision we enclose a table showing the minimum ow rates to be ensured to the plate heat exchanger in order to guarantee its
correct operaon (please note: the water ow switch is used to prevent the an-freeze probe from tripping due to a lack of ow but does not
guarantee the minimum water ow rate required for correct operaon of the unit).

* When the ow rate falls below the indicated limit (ow switch intervenon ow rate - decreasing ow) the ow switch signals an alarm, which
can only be reset when the ow switch intervenon ow rate - increasing ow - is reached.

The minimum allowed evaporator outlet temperature is 5°C for units with standard conguraon. In the case of units with BT (low temperature)
conguraon the limit drops to -8°C. Please note that in this case the use of glycol water is necessary. The maximum temperature that can be
maintained at steady state at the evaporator outlet is 22°C.
AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE AND SUMMARY TABLE
The units are designed and built to operate in summer, with condensaon control, with outdoor air temperatures between -15°C and 48°C.
