MAINTENANCE MONITOR
The Mazda3 is equipped with a Maintenance Monitor system
to help remind you when service is due on the vehicle. Consult
the Scheduled Maintenance section of the Owner’s Manual
or your Authorized Mazda Dealer for more information.
• A xed setting is available for
scheduled maintenance (distance
or time), tire rotation (distance), and
oil changes (distance).
• A exible setting is available
for oil changes where the engine
oil life (%) is calculated based on
the engine operating conditions.
MazdaGenuine0W-20orCastrol
0w-20 oil are required for the exible
setting to achieve optimum
calculation performance.
• Once the system is turned on, a
wrench indicator light in the instrument
cluster will turn on when service is due
(distance becomes less than 300 mile
or the remaining days become less
than 15, whichever comes rst).
On vehicles without
infotainment system:
• Consult your Authorized Mazda Dealer
when you want to change the setting
between off, xed, and exible.
• To reset the system, press and hold
the TRIP button with the ignition
switched off, then switch it on. Keep
pressing the TRIP button for more than
5 seconds. The master warning light
will ash for a few seconds when the
reset is completed.
On vehicles with
infotainment system:
1 Select Applications on the
Home screen to display the
Applications screen.
2 Select the “Maintenance”
to display the maintenance
list screen.
3 Switch the tab and select the
setting item you want to change.
You can customize settings in
the setup display as follows:
SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
•Can be turned on and off.
• The time (months) or distance (miles)
can be set.
•A reset can be performed.
TIRE ROTATION
•Can be turned on and off.
•The distance (miles) can be set.
•A reset can be performed.
OILCHANGE
•Can be set to a exible or a xed
setting, or can be turned off.
• For a xed setting, the distance (miles)
canbeset(max.7500miles).
•A reset can be performed.
